Thanks for visiting my site. I’m McKenzie — your friendly neighborhood marketer, photographer and lifelong storyteller.

Photography was my launching point into this career, and it’s still at the center of a lot of what I love to do. Over the years, that passion for storytelling grew from a degree in journalism into a career spanning public relations, social media, content strategy, creative production and marketing across entertainment, higher education, healthcare and the arts.

I’ve worked with organizations including The Juilliard School and Walt Disney World Resort, along with educational and arts organizations throughout Central Florida. My writing, photography and creative work have also been published or featured by outlets such as Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, music and entertainment publications, and even a Central Florida coffee-table book.

Above all, I’m a storyteller. Sometimes that means building a campaign or finding the right way to connect an idea with an audience. Other times, it’s interviewing someone, writing the story or being behind the camera when the moment happens.

If I’m not working, there’s a pretty good chance I’m still behind a camera — photographing theatre, nature, sports or whatever else catches my eye. Otherwise, you can probably find me somewhere near the mountains…or planning my next excuse to get back to them.
